This process will be ongoing until we have achieved optimal bloodwork and the patient has an overall health feel of someone much younger. You will also begin to FEEL the changes in your metabolism within the first few weeks as your energy increases, mental focus and libido begin returning to their younger state and your overall mood and sense of health will improve noticeably within the first 30 days alone.
Our membership includes a free Longevity Medicine newsletter that can be found at the bottom of this page.
Yes, non-credit-based and credit based financing is available. Cost should never be an issue when it comes to your health, remember. It should never direct your decisions. Consider your visits an investment in your future.
Yes, Dr. Osborn prescribes metformin to non-diabetics as preliminary data suggest that it may slow the onset of age-related diseases such as “hardening of the arteries,” some types of cancer and even Alzheimer’s disease. According to Dr. Osborn, “The best treatment for disease is prevention. There are ongoing trials investigating the usage of metformin as treatment for the disease of aging (which includes the age-related diseases named above). The results are due to be published in the next 8-10 years. So are you going to wait 8-10 years or are you going to consider metformin now? The ball is in your court. The solution is right here.
One of the “pieces of actionable data” that we collect in the clinic as part of your risk factor assessment is a cognitive test score. A healthy body typically is associated with a healthy brain, and this is something that can be measured with formal testing. No, it’s not an IQ test so don’t worry. But we can measure things such as brain speed, memory and reaction time, all of which are to some degree related to hormones like estrogen, progesterone and testosterone. Get the point? On optimal hormone profile is often associated with optimal brain function. On the contrary, faltering hormone levels may be associated with depression, “brain fog” and malaise. Is this you? Ever thought about having your levels checked?
Dr. Osborn’s panel is more extensive than what you will typically undergo in your internist’s office. Why? Because we are less concerned about your iron levels than we are about markers of inflammation and how close you are to developing “insulin resistance” or the pre-diabetic state. Out of check inflammation, like the insulin resistant state, over time will kill you. Low iron will not. The clinic protocols attack these problems directly, making you less likely to develop age-related diseases such as cancer, diabetes, heart attack and stroke. Make sense? You should be asking yourself, “Why isn’t my doctor checking for these things?” That’s a question only you can answer.
Senolytix is not a “hormone clinic.” The clinic is geared towards health and wellness, and integral to that is an optimal hormone profile. But in addition to a suboptimal hormone profile, you may have other risk factors for disease and not even know it. Do you know how well your heart is functioning? What about how much plaque you have in your arteries? An ultrasound test answers these questions and allows Dr. Osborn to estimate your risk for heart attack and stroke. And this information you can act upon! We can help you dramatically reduce your chances of that first heart attack or stroke.
Very good question. Hormone therapy, in this context, must be OK’d by your oncologist, as some tumors are hormone-sensitive. Please keep in mind, however, that hormones do not “cause” cancers per se, yet can accelerate their growth. Extreme caution must be utilized therefore. Same thing goes for brain surgery. Senolytix is Longevity Medicine with the precision of a neurosurgeon.
The only difference is geography! We make the experience as seamless as possible, as if you were a local patient. You simply show up at the office - maybe grab a workout in the Performance Center - and undergo your consultation (or annual visit). If possible, you should consider bringing the family with you for a long weekend. Make a vacation out of it!
The nearest hotel is a 5 minute car ride from the airport. The Senolytix facility is within walking distance from the Palm Beach International Airport Hilton. There are other hotels located in the immediate area as well.
Yes, as long as you undergo your routine on-site annual visits, medications may be prescribed to out-of-state residents. Some states (California, for example) prohibit inbound shipments of compounded medications from other states. However in these cases, prescriptions would go through personal pharmacies.
